Saturday is the 10th Annual POINT 1 K race to benefit Maryland Special Olympics! The race starts at the top of the driveway and continues alllllll theeee waaaayyyy down the driveway towards the pool to finish. 50 times shorter than a 5K, but 50 times more fun! Also a beverage stop or two along the way! This race is short, but the funds raised for Maryland Special Olympics go a long way! Sign up starts at Noon. AUCE Crabs, beers, soda, succulent roast beef, corn on the cob, green beans, house made crab soup and hot dogs and sauerkraut! 2:00 – 5:00 pm. Commanders play at 4:15. Fun family event to celebrate September birthdays or back to school, or whatever! Please see the friendly bartender for tickets or give Mary Fran Lintner a call at 301-335-3106. The Senior’s Club will hold their first Post-Covid meeting on Wednesday, September 27th at Twelve Noon in the Clubhouse. Lunch is Popeye’s Fried Chicken (Regular and Spicy)! Bring a side dish or dessert if you wish. Cost will be three dollars ($3.00) if you bring a dish OR five dollars ($5.00) if you only bring yourself. We will play some Bingo following Lunch ! I’m so sad Mother Nature did not cooperate with us for the final Adult Swim last Saturday, but the band moved inside (THANK YOU) and everyone had a great time! The Shuffleboard League started this week and guess what? It’s not too late to play! There is plenty of room for a team, Tuesday or Thursday! Grab your BFF and now you can “catch up” with each other once a week! Questions?
