| | | | Hello there everybody!  I can’t believe Memorial Day Weekend is here – wow!  The pool and grounds look fantastic, thanks so much to Susan and Tim Keifline for spearheading the clean up event and to everyone who volunteered their time and sweat to get the place ready for summer fun!  We really appreciate you!   This weekend the pool will open at Noon and close at 8:00 pm.  Your pool passes will be in the Guard Shack.  Special guest passes are on sale THIS WEEKEND ONLY.  You can purchase (5) guest passes for $30!  A savings of $20!!  Along with the pool opening, Bill Judd will be spinning tunes Sunday and Monday.  The men’s softball league opening day is Monday and we’ll have some family fun games too!  Think egg toss, sack race etc.  The softball field will be open Saturday and Sunday if you want to grab some friends and play some kickball or co-ed softball!   Family camping all weekend, go grab that tent out of the shed!  The bathrooms will be open all night.  Hoping that the snack bar will be open for a few hours too!  Always looking for volunteers for the snack bar – just a few hours a week/month is great!  Email back if you have a couple of hours to donate!  Thank you!!   Mass will be held Sunday at the circle in front of the Clubhouse at 9:00 am.  Breakfast afterwards.   Tonight is the dedication Rosary service for the newly spruced Mother Mary statue right outside of the Clubhouse.  Please see the attached flyer.   On Wednesdays the Clubhouse will be holding music trivia starting at 7:00 pm.  $5 a round, winner takes all.  Super fun, give it a try!   The Friday night dinner special is our traditional Memorial Day fare – homemade burgers and fat hot dogs, with a fixin’s bar, baked beans and potato salad, and a surprise dessert.  Please pre-order here:  https://tinyurl.com/2p9fbdxd The Aquaknight Swim Team parents meeting is June 1st at 7:00 pm, under the pavilion (weather permitting).  If it’s yucky, we’ll have it in the Clubhouse.  Bar Bingo continues on Saturday evening, starting at 7:30 pm.  Come on up and give it a try – super fun!   Drop in shuffleboard games are on Tuesday and drop in dart games are Thursday evenings.    There is a men’s softball team looking for a few players.  Tell your friends!  Each team is allowed to have (2) players that are not Knight members.  We are trying to fill this team so there will not be a bye this year.  Please contact Jim Lintner at 301-646-2344 if interested.   Please keep Harry Wacke and his family in your prayers.  Harry passed away last week.   I can’t think of much else, hope to see you at the pool this weekend!  Be safe, have fun!
