| | | Hello there everybody! I hope you’re staying dry! lol Well, the pool opened last weekend, and in spite of the weather – it was FANTASTIC! Kids were swimming (yes, they had to be freezing….but they’re kids!! ) Hopefully the will start cooperating! The pool would not have opened without all the hard work from our volunteers! If you see any of these folks, make sure to tell them THANK YOU!! Big thanks to PGK Tim Keifline & his wife Susan, PGK Matt O’Hare, PGK Doug Amann, Clyde & Bernadette Wilson, Frances Wilson, Mike & Mary Czan, Laura Hehman, Jim Donley (the landscape looks amazing) and Tom Kosdemba. Please let me know who I’m missing! Memorial Day weekend was wonderful, starting with a beautiful Mass, and the crowning of Mary. The crown was made by Laura Welsh and is stunning! Laura used the flowers from her husband Patrick’s funeral and was a touching remembrance for everyone who knew Patrick. Big thanks to Grand Knight John Foley and his team who prepared a delicious breakfast after Mass. Bill Judd spun tunes all day, and continuing with his 25 year tradition, played the National Anthem for opening day on Monday. LOTS of families were grillin’ and chillin’ all weekend long. Big thanks to Rich Little and PGK Doug & Nannette Amann for workin’ that snack bar all day Monday! Speaking of the snack bar…..Rich Little will not be able to volunteer June 8th, July 27th, August 3rd and August 23rd so we are reaching out now for volunteers during these days (or any other day really ) If you have an a few hours to donate either the days Rich won’t be able to work, or any other Sunday (or a weekday / Saturday if you want) that’ll be great!
